Oozing Future Creative Lab

Our creative labs offer an important opportunity for artists of different disciplines to come together in conversation and explore new approaches to creative practice. With a focus on futures thinking, community building, and the development of alternative methods of thinking through performance, all sessions in the Lab are offered for free to ensure maximum accessibility. The first Creative Lab was hosted in Melbourne/Naarm by the Darebin Arts Centre in 2025 and included workshops on alt-circus, futures thinking and creative methods. The upcoming 2026 Creative Lab will be hosted by Next Wave in Melbourne/Naarm between 27th April - 1st May 2026. Join the Signal group here for daily updates and more info: Join Group

The Creative Lab is provided to artists for free based on the financial support of Oozing Future. To help us meet these costs, which include venue hire, advertising and teaching fees (provided in-kind), we are seeking donations to the running costs of the program. A Go Fund Me link will be uploaded here shortly. Donations of any size are very much appreciated!
